Make The Most of Your Workout With Fat Burning Exercise

fat_burning_exerciseI have tried every fat burning exercise known to man.  That may not be quite true, but it definitely seems like it is.  I have joined gyms and tried complicated machines which need an hour’s worth of instruction to get thirty minutes of fat burning exercise out of them.

I have come to the conclusion that the only real solution for getting rid of fat on your body is to stop looking for the easy way out, and be dedicated to work for fat loss. Fancy machines are not needed to achieve your goals, solid, simple cardio activities are good enough to help you achieve your goals.  Stop making excuses, stop relying on work out machines that make your workout “easier”, and get into a workout routine and healthy eating plan that will help you burn fat and be skinny once again.

I have put together some suggestions for my favorite activities for fat burning exercise. They are in no particular order, and I encourage you to try them all.  You will lose fat on your body, your metabolism will increase and you will burn more calories. That is a guarantee.  You will be on your way to developing a more toned and sexy body. You may even, dare I say it, have fun!

Walking

fat_burning_exercise-walkingNot only is walking a relatively easy endeavor, it is one of the most healthy that you can participate in.  Walking is great for anyone but especially those that are just starting to get rid of the fat on their bodies.  You simply have to try to maintain a healthy pace for a decent amount of time, on a regular basis.  That means, walk with a purpose, (to lose weight), you want to move with a little urgency not like a snail.  As for time, thirty minutes a day is enough, but many people will walk longer.  On regular basis means five times a week, or more.

Biking

fat_burning_exercise-_bikingBiking on a regular basis will help your body burn stored fat and also helps strengthen leg muscles.  Not to mention that if you get serious into biking you can join clubs and share your passion as well.  It is always easier to maintain an activity if you are not in it all alone.  Biking will help you maintain a healthy blood pressure and lower your cholesterol.

Aerobics

You get to combine music, dancing, and exercise.  I was always very self conscious about what others would think of my technique.  What I have found is that most people enjoy this type of exercise and could not care less what you look like when you are doing it.  I personally like step aerobics, you just follow the leader and burn fat.  Even if you mess up a few times, it’s ok, your body will be the beneficiary of your new found activity.  So be brave, join an aerobics class.  If you are not that courageous yet, you can start with a dvd at home. But I encourage you to get out and join a class.  Humans were meant to do things in groups, it’s easier and you will be less likely to talk yourself into skipping a workout.

Running

I know that running can seem intimidating to some people, especially when you are just getting started.  You feel like you are so out of shape and it can be discouraging when you compare your progress to others your see out running on the road or on the treadmill next to you.  Understand that you are not in a race with anyone else, you are simply in a race with yourself, and the only way you can lose is to do nothing.  Start fat_burning_exercise-runningrealistically, I started  by combining both running and walking together, building my way up to two thirds running one third walking, until eventually I was running two miles nonstop.  Then I slowly increased the distance.  Running not only is a burn fat exercise, it gives you many other benefits, as well. My favorite is that I have some of my most productive thoughts when I am running.

These are few of many fat burning exercises you can try.  I encourage you to start realistically; you will be less likely to be injured and more likely to continue with the exercise in the long term.  Make sure you are medically cleared for all activity, before you start a strenuous physical fat burning program.  Also, I encourage you to create a healthy eating plan, which will fuel your exercise and help you get rid of the fat as well. A fat burning exercise doesn’t have to be a chore, it can be fun.
