The great book, Fitness & Health Exercise Plan, is designed to give you a knowledge of the human body, how it works and how to best manipulate your body to reach the goals of getting rid of fat that you are looking for. This is a factual book based on research of two experts who combine their knowledge to allow for the best use of your time and effort when it comes to your weight loss goals.
Many people have referred to this book as “The thinking man’s fitness book.” It shows how to eat properly to fuel the body and how to exercise well to keep your body an efficient smooth running machine. Fitness and health, is so good that it is used as the basis for many college level health courses. I think that it was written to help people reach their goals of weight loss and personal health, they really try to promote an “active lifestyle” throughout the publication, rather than just focusing on performance. The Authors Sharkey and Gaskill have gone to great lengths so that their ideas can be grasped by the average reader.
There are plenty of reasons why it’s in your best interest to follow the exercise program discussed in Fitness & Health, and the sound advice they give on what types of programs work (i.e. proper intensity, the importance of stretching, when to work out, etc.) The authors constantly refers to several scientific studies, letting you know that the contents are definitely not the latest lose weight quick scheme. Included in the book are illustrations and photos of numerous exercises that can be done outside of a gym in order to increase flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular fitness.
You will have an interesting and successful road to health if you follow the teachings laid down in this book.
